The Mid Atlantic Fishery Management Council approved a 8.5 Million Pounds Recreational Harvest Limit for Fluke in 2010. Last year we had a Recreational Harvest Limit of only 7.1 Million Pounds of Fluke. It’s a an increase of 1.4 Million Pounds of Fluke for next year. It’s still not enough but at least we are finally heading in the right direction for a change. Consider it an early Christmas Present from the MAFMC!
